Am 25.3. waren unsere Mitfrauen* beim Global Strike von Fridays For Future dabei und haben sich unter dem Motto #PEOPLENOTPROFIT u.a. mit einem Redebeitrag für Klimagerechtigkeit, eine friedliche Welt und Veränderung eingesetzt:

„Wir Mitfrauen* im Feministischen Frauen*gesundheitszentrum Stuttgart fragen uns: Wieso möchte ein Mensch durch Ausbeutung Mehrwert aus einem anderen Menschen ziehen? Ist es, weil das Idealbild des homo oeconomicus nach außen aufrechterhalten werden muss, um nicht in der Machtposition ersetzt zu werden? Erscheint das, was vom Ideal abweicht, als so störend, dass die Ausbeutung dessen die einzige Antwort auf den Umgang mit Komplexität ist? Wieso sind manche Menschen systematisch privilegiert und andere nicht?
Seien wir einmal ganz ehrlich, unbezahlte engagierte, support und Care-Arbeit werden vom Kapitalismus und Patriarchat schamlos ausgebeutet.
 

Und doch sind das die tragenden Säulen unserer Gesellschaft. Fürsorge, in den besten Fällen wertgeschätzt aber oft unbezahlt. In der aktuellen Kunstausstellung „Neu Sortieren“ im Code_n beschäftigte sich eine Kunstschaffende Person auch mit diesem Thema und schrieb dazu, nach Anne Helen Petersen, 2019 zitiert: „Unbezahlte Care-Arbeit meint nicht „nur“ Hausarbeit, Pflege und Fürsorge, sondern auch den „mental load“, die Rolle als „household management project leader“, welche in den meisten Fällen der Frau zuteil wird.” (Ausstellung „Neu Sortieren“, A. H.Petersen 2019: How Millennial’s Became The Burnout Generation. In: BuzzFeed News).
 
Und viel wichtiger: wie steht es um die Verantwortung? Wo bleibt das Verantwortungsbewusstsein?
 
Die BW Bank hat am Hauptbahnhof ein Banner aufgehängt mit den Worten: „Wenn das 0% CO-2 Ziel zu 100% ihr Business ist, dann ist das 0% CO-2 Ziel zu 100% auch unser Business.“ 
Mit anderen Worten: Beschäftigt sich das Individuum mit dem Klima Business, ist es auch unser Business. Doch wieso schiebt ihr die Verantwortung wieder aufs Individuum anstatt sie in Gänze als eure Verantwortung anzuerkennen? Wieso sind es immer die Bürger*innen, die Aktivist*innen, Feminist*innen, die Individuen, die es ohnehin schon schwer haben und sich dennoch engagieren?
 
Privilegien kommen mit Verantwortung – doch das wird schön abgeschoben auf das Individuum. Das Individuum kann es nicht handeln, möchte Support von der Politik oder der Gesellschaft und endet im aktivistischen Burnout. Dass der Kapitalismus und das Patriarchat zusammenhängen, muss heute nicht mehr belegt werden.
 
Ohne Patriarchat, das die erste Aufteilung der menschlichen Gemeinschaft in eine Klassengesellschaft schuf, gäbe es auch keinen Kapitalismus. Und der Kapitalismus ist die Grundlage dafür, dass die Menschheit die planetaren Ressourcen überausbeutet und den Klimawandel immer mehr befeuert. Erderwärmung, Artensterben, ein immer unbewohnbarer Planet Erde ist die Folge. Der Kampf um eine bewohnbare Welt ist ein feministischer.
 
Klimagerechtigkeit bedeutet zumindest für uns Verantwortung zu übernehmen. Das fordern wir von den Banken, der Politik, den Kapitalist*innen, der Pharma- und Waffenindustrie. Denn nur weil eure Welt den Bach runter geht, lassen wir uns nicht von euch mitziehen – wir schwimmen bereits seit Jahren im Fluss, in den ihr uns geworfen habt und haben uns vielleicht sogar Halbinseln gegen den Strom gebaut. Momentan haltet ihr euch noch am Ufer fest, unfähig zu schwimmen, da ihr es nie lernen musstet.
 
Doch: Wir teilen uns eine Welt und damit teilen wir uns auch die Verantwortung – also hört endlich auf, eure Verantwortung auf uns abzuschieben. Wir sind Menschen und nicht euer Profit!“

With an intersectional background in mind:
I speak to you as a Part of the FeministWomenHealthCentre Stuttgart (FF*GZ) and we are asking ourselves:
 
Why does one exploit another human being? Is it maybe because the ideal homo oeconomicus must be kept alive to not loose its strength and power? Is everything astray from the ideal, so provoking that exploitment is the only given answer to complexity? (e.g. green/queer”washing”)
 
Why are some humans being systematically exploited?
 
Let’s be honest, unpaid committed activists, supporters and Care-Workers are being shamelessly exploited by patriarchy and capitalism. And still – care work – is the foundation of our society. In its best cases care work is honored but mostly underpaid. As one artist from the current art exhibition “neu sortieren” in Code_n portrayed after Anne Helen Petersen 2019: Unpaid care work is not only keeping up the domestic work, maintenance and care but also the mental load which is coming with the role as a household management project leader, which is in most cases given to a woman and therefore practiced by women.
 
More importantly:  
What about the responsibility? Where is the sense for responsibility?
 
Our local Bank, the BW Bank is currently presenting a huge quote at the main station that says: “if the 0% CO-2 emission goal is 100% your business, then the 0% CO-2 emission goal is 100% our business”. Smart asses. In other words: if the individual being is taking the responsibility and action out of climate awareness, then we do, too?! Why are you – again – laying *your* responsibilities on the individual being? Why is it always the activist, the feminists, the citizens, who already suffer from your privileges, that must do all the work?
 
Privileges come with responsibilities. Or as in Spiderman “with great power comes great responsibility” – but you try to lay all the burdens on the individual being! The individual is powerless, demands support from politics and society and ends up in an activistic burn-out. Capitalism and patriarchy correlate. Thankfully we don’t need to proof that nowadays.
 
Without patriarchy, which introduced the first division of beings into classes, there wouldn’t be capitalism. And capitalism is the foundation of the over exploitation of earth. Global warming, loss of biodiversity and many other correlated thing are its consequences. The fight for a liveable planet is a feminist one!
 
Climate justice means admitting your responsibilities and acting up on them. That is what we want from politicians and politics itself, capitalists, banks, big pharma and the weapon industry! Just because your world is going down the river doesn’t mean we let you take us with you – we had to learn how to swim years ago, we built isles against the current (friderike haberman), while you’re still holding on to the bay because you never had to learn how to swim.
 
But dearest addresser: we are sharing this world, therefore we share the responsibilities – therefore stop passing your responsibilities on us! We are people not your profit!
